This plane is made from ductile cast iron with the sides and sole ground to precise tolerances. The Length of the plane is 7” long. The steel cap snaps into place for securing the blade, which can be adjusted by the adjustment screw. The blade is hardened and ground. The adjustable mouth allows you to keep the opening tight for fine shavings, you can open it up for rough work. Perfect for planning end grain and small areas.
